Headshots for Adult & Child Actors

You must stand out. Your headshot is everything. It gets you in the room with casting directors. It gives you a chance at booking that role. Casting directors only look at headshots for 1 second each, max. Your headshot must pop if you want to get a chance to audition.

Before we began shooting, we ask a ton of questions to understand exactly who you are and what roles would be best suited for you. This helps us know how best to photograph you - so you can get booked for that ideal role.

As an actor or model, your face will literally be the face of your website, casting profiles, postcards and résumé. You headshot should look great and should look like you. Casting directors want to know who you are, your energy, your personality and how you look on camera. They want to know why you're worth bringing in for an audition.

As an actor you need two headshots: one for a commercial look and one for a theatrical look. You also need to show who you are through your social profiles, because casting directors look at those too.

We focus on capturing those main images for our actors, but we also provide you with a ton of other photos that you can use all over your social media profiles. And, if you are also modeling, you need a full portfolio with many looks. Don't worry! We've got you!

Not only will we get all the images you need for your portfolio and more, but we will also look at your images and suggest 15 for your online portfolios. Of course your agent will have final say, but if you don't have one yet, then this will be super helpful!

5 Tips For Parents of Child Actors

Whether you are just starting out or your kid is already booking, these tips will help you and your kiDs in this journey!

The MOST Important thing for you to do is invest in amazing Headshots with someone who knows the industry. Scrape the money together if you have to. Without an AMAZING headshot, your child won't be noticed, remembered, or cast. Regardless of how great or good looking they are. It IS worth the money, and once your kid is booked, they can pay you back if necessary.

1) Invest in a headshot from someone who knows the industry.

2) Get coaching on your child's look & wardrobe & LISTEN to the coaching.

3) Do your homework!

4) Don't compare your kid to others.

5) Be your child's biggest fan, always.

You CANNOT get an amazing headshot if their hair isn't styled correctly or their wardrobe doesn't make them pop. It will simply make them look amateur and you'll be frustrated you spent the money and aren't booking. INVEST in the entire package, so your child has the best representation of them possible.

There are a LOT of agencies out there that don't work hard for you, that cost money or require things of you that are not standard or normal. Get onto Facebook groups, research the industry and GET SERIOUS. Just like you would do if you were looking for a job for yourself.

Whatever look the Client wants, is the look the client wants. Which means, your kid may be a better actor, have a better smile, or have done their best on an audition, and they simply just weren't the "right look". For both you and your child's sake- don't compare them. There is no positive response or experience from it for either of you.

Your child will look to you to understand if they're doing well. Based on your response or your emotional demeanor, you set the stage for their ability to accept rejection, and there will be a LOT of rejection in this industry. They need YOU to be their safe space and to encourage them, support them, and be their biggest fan whether or not they book a job.

"This was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Kellianne worked wonderfully with my 5 year old daughter on modeling shots. We ended up with a product that blew my mind, exceeded all expectations and was AMAZING value for money.

Kellianne shoots really fast which made it fun & fast paced, from the number and variety of the pictures, it looked like it took all day; but was actually done in under two hours.

She was accommodating and flexible in scheduling, gave great prep advice prior to the session, helped with styling and outfits, and was the consummate professional. I recommend her for any photography needs especially modeling/acting headshots."
